Luke Phillips

Hi, I'm Luke Phillips. Welcome to my profile!

Luke Phillips's Bio:

Luke Phillips is very interested in the ways technology and entrepreneurship can benefit society. As demonstration of this, Luke has founded an e-learning platform and a Politics eNewsletter. Luke is also the Director of King's Innovation Centre, an initiative aiming to advance the entrepreneurial ambitions of students and teachers on-campus. To compliment this role, Luke mentored several 1st year Politics students, whilst in his penultimate year. In recognition of his contribution to the College, King's awarded Luke with scholarships to the University of Hong Kong (2011) and Georgetown University (2012). Also, Google selected him as a "Top Black Talent" in 2011. In the same year he was elected by students at King's to serve as their Academic Board Representative in the Student Council. In 2012, Luke acquired invaluable skills in law and consultancy through engagements with Field Fisher Waterhouse and McKinsey & Co, respectively. Luke has managed his time organising social activities as a Senior Student at university residence and providing excellent customer experience as a Sales Consultant. By raising innovative ideas to the CEO, some of which has prevented shrinkage, he has been regarded as a thought-leader by peers. In the past, Luke held positions as a Student Executive, Aimhigher Student Ambassador and Havering Youth Council Representative. Luke is in his third year at King's College London (graduating in 2013). He holds an impressive 3.7/4.0 GPA from the University of Hong Kong, an award from Harvard Model United Nations, and an achievement certificate from the University of Oxford where he studied macroeconomics. Keen to add value to new startups and investment opportunities. Get in touch with your ideas: [email protected]
